Chart notes
POMEROY HAZE stalked the pace while two wide on the turn, rallied on the outside and was in a long drive and proved best in the end. SHIFTY HENRY set the early pace, was in a long drive and gamely dug in but tired in late stretch. KNOCKS BIG THIRST was settled then rallied on the turn while five wide, was making up ground but was no menace in the end. COVINGTON QUALITY was inside on the turn saving ground but was no threat in the stretch. REVEREND AJ rallied four wide on the turn making a bid then flattened out in the drive. KING DEUCE chased the early pace while three wide, was used up then stopped.
