Chart notes
BACHELOR PAD, in range, raced five-wide into and on the turn, was hustled along, chased into the stretch, rallied gamely and was up in time under a light drive. HITTERS PARK showed brief speed, stalked into the turn, chased two-wide into the stretch, gained the lead 70 yards out but was caught on the wire. FIELDER raced in mid pack, rode the rail on the turn, launched his drive upper stretch but was outkicked. PIVEN forced the pace, led late turn, was headed a 16th out and gave way. RECONFIGURE pressed the pace, forced the issue three-wide on the turn then leveled out in the final 16th. ELEKTRONIC was off slowly, showed speed and set a pressed pace, was headed midturn, regained command at the top of the stretch but gave way with a 16th to run. JACK BEANSTALK settled off the pace, was hustled from the rail and two-wide on the turn but never reached contention. SILENT FLASH, in range, was hustled four then three-wide on the turn but lacked a closing response.
