THIS ILL DEFEND was off a bit slow, raced off the pace, moved up inside on the turn, swung wide at the quarter pole, closed willingly outside, gained the lead in deep stretch and drew clear. BLACK LIGHT was bumped at the start, vied three wide for the lead, dueled two wide on the turn, gained a short lead in upper stretch, dug in gamely in the final furlong but was no match for the winner. BECAUSE I CAN vied inside for the lead, dueled on the turn, dug in gamely, then weakened and saved the show spot. NORTHERN EXPRESS bobbled at the break and was bumped, raced off the pace, off the rail and had no rally. VICTORY BUILT vied between rivals, chased two wide on the turn and tired. ALPHA SIXTY SIX tracked on the inside, moved up on the turn, lacked a bid and then tired. SCOTCH ROCK'S was bumped at the start, raced two wide off the pace and did not factor. VOY A TI raced off the rail, off the pace and was outrun.
