Chart notes
LADY THORNHILL jostled with a foe leaving the chute then was taken in hand, raced in the two path while rated off the pace, shifted four wide into the stretch, made a bid near the three-sixteenths then took the advantage, fought with the runner-up to the wire and proved best under strong urging. OUT OF SIGHT stalked outside in the three path, drew even with the leader on the far turn, gained a short advantage into upper stretch, lost the lead to the winner before the furlong marker, fought on well to the wire but missed while clear for the place. HIT THE NAIL jostled with a foe leaving the chute, prompted the pace on the outside in the two path, took the lead with three furlongs to run, lost the advantage into upper stretch, battled under a drive into the final furlong and weakened but held the show. EXFILTRATION was taken up briefly leaving the chute, went three wide on the first turn, was reserved off the pace, traveled three wide on the far turn, came five wide into the stretch and lacked the needed response. DUCKPHAT settled at the rear on the inside, saved ground through the far turn, moved out in upper stretch and failed to threaten. SALUKI settled on the inside, was roused on the far turn and failed to rally. SAIGON went four wide around the opening bend, bumped with a rival early on the backstretch, settled on the outside, moved closer with five furlongs to run, was roused four wide on the far turn and failed to respond. CAUSEWAY OF DREAMS broke in and was off slow, bumped with a foe near the three-quarter pole, went two to three wide on the turns, moved out in upper stretch and was no factor. BEAT BY A ROSE set the pace on the inside, lost the lead with three furlongs to run and stopped.
