Chart notes
SANDRONE went to the front, showed the way with a clear advantage, controlled the action inside on the turn, responded well when set down into upper stretch and drew away under strong urging. BUSTIN UP was well placed just off the pace, saved ground on the turn, swung five wide into the stretch and earned the place while no match for the winner. HE'S GOT IT settled under some urging, raced inside to the two path on the turn, turned into upper stretch under a drive and improved position to get the show. BUILT TO LAST tracked the pace down the backstretch, went around the turn in the two path, spun three wide into the stretch and weakened. RED FORTRESS was bumped at the start, settled on the outside without cover, went three to four wide on the turn, came six wide into the stretch, brushed with a foe into the final furlong and failed to rally. WILD CARP DIEM settled just off the pace, was urged in the two path on the turn, came five wide into the stretch, brushed with an opponent near the furlong marker, raced between horses late and lacked the needed response. MY FRIEND DUKE was bumped at the start and forced into another rival, settled just of the pace, went three wide on the turn, was driven four wide into upper stretch and came up empty. RIPE FOR MISCHIEF broke a step slow, angled in at the rear of the field, saved ground on the turn and was no factor. DANCING WITH RICO broke a bit slow, raced near the back, saved ground for most of the turn then shifted three wide, came four wide into the stretch then moved further out and was no factor. SELL SOMETHING broke out and bumped with a foe, went three to four wide on the turn, checked inside the five-sixteenths, came six wide into the stretch and failed to threaten.
