Chart notes
NOSTALGIC RUN pressed the early pace and made a three wide bid entering the far turn, drew clear on the turn and then drew out leaving the turn, then was given one left handed pop with the riding crop leaving the furlong marker, then switched to right handed urging by the sixteenth pole to prove best. SUMMER ASH was allowed to settle early while three wide, made a four wide move on the turn to move into contention by the quarter pole, but could not go with the winner in the lane while clearly second best. MONEY CODE was allowed to settle on the inside to the quarter pole, then angled off the rail for racing room, was no match to the top two while being along for the show award. MAJOR THOMAS was four wide into the first turn, then was rated along three wide, then dropped down to the inside leaving the turn and weakened. DEEP FAITH set a pressured pace on the inside and gave way. MASON MANIA was bumped at the start, then raced on the inside and was not a factor.
