Chart notes
SUPER SHOES angled to the inside racing to the first turn, switched out midway through that bend to track the leaders outside a rival racing to the backstretch, was prompted to advance shifting out four wide nearing upper stretch, lugged in under pressure while moving to challenge for command racing past midstretch, bumped TIZ TRIUMPHANT, then shifted inwards crossing that rival's path to gain a clear advantage in the final stages. MR. EINSTEIN was rated along the inside as part of the second flight racing to the backstretch, continued under patient handling awaiting an opening racing into the far turn, came through inside foes to challenge for command in upper stretch but was outkicked. TIZ TRIUMPHANT, urged to terms with the pacesetter three deep prompting that rival into the backstretch, conceded some position after a half, was urged to press the issue in that path outside the pacesetter through the far turn into upper stretch, was bumped midstretch, then was cut off by SUPER SHOES while losing momentum late. BEACH BANDIT, urged between foes from the outset disputing the pace on a narrow advantage, continued to dispute the issue while drifting out racing into upper stretch and weakened leaving midstretch while caught in tight quarters late. PRIVATE CODE settled outside foes racing to the backstretch and made an effort to gain some position between foes in the closing stages while no real threat. MERCEDES JOE tracked the leaders three deep just off the second flight racing to the backstretch but faded from contention early. GIOVANE'S PROMISE, urged inside rivals pressing the pace in the opening half, lost some ground to the leaders racing into the second bend, swerved out sharply racing into upper stretch and abruptly gave way. BUSTER proved no factor. FOLLOWING THE RACE, THE RIDER OF TIZ TRIUMPHANT LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST THE RIDER OF SUPER SHOES ALLEGING INTERFERENCE MIDSTRETCH WHILE THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED A CONCURRENT INQUIRY. AFTER REVIEWING THE STRETCH RUN, THE STEWARDS DISQUALIFIED SUPER SHOES FOR INTERFERENCE, PLACING HIM THIRD. Copyright 2026 Equibase Company LLC. All Rights Reserved.
