Chart notes
LUFTY'S KISSES rated off the pace and off the rail the first turn, bid nearing the three eighths pole, closed the gap off the rail through the far turn, drifted into the stretch but dug in for the lead inside the sixteenth pole and edged clear later yards. BOONDOGGLE rated a clear lead inside, came under pressure nearing the quarter pole, raced at the rail on the far turn, was steadily handled leaving the turn but gave up the lead past the sixteenth pole and relented later yards. TWOBITSARIDE saved ground off the pace, bid nearing the three eighths pole, raced near the rail on the far turn then flattened. J J WEDGIT MAN settled off the pace inside, bid leaving the three eighths pole, raced off the rail on the far turn, was eased out entering the stretch then flattened the final furlong. OWL RUN settled off the pace in the three and four paths, gave chase leaving the three eighths pole but flattened in the three path of the far turn. TAMAQUA rounded the opening turn in the four path, entered the backstretch outside and showed little response. RUM RUNNER RED saved ground. EXPLOITATION rounded the first turn in the five path and was not a factor.
