Chart notes
ZUMURUDEE was off a step slow, raced unhurried early, moved three-wide through the second turn, was up in the closing yards to be clear late. CLAVICHORD broke sharply to set a pressured pace from the inside, opened a clear margin into the lane but could not resist the winner late. BEAT THE HEAT was void of early speed, raced off the rail through the second turn and finished with a steady bid. SEEKING REFUGE settled off the leaders early, moved five-wide through the second turn and finished evenly late. TIZONA pressed the pace while racing three-wide and gave way after going three-quarters. HOLLYWOOD HEAT lacked early foot, raced three-wide through the second turn and was not a factor. FANTASTIC DAY was void of early speed, raced four-wide through the second turn and did not offer a bid. REGAL MAX chased the leaders from the inside for six furlongs and weakened.
