PETE THE BEAST set a pressured pace through the backstretch, drew clear toward the quarter pole, raced at the rail on the turn and was steadily handled through the stretch. GLORIOUS MAHOMES pressured the pace through the backstretch, raced off the rail on the turn and had to settle for second best. MORE PLEASE chased and raced in the three path of the turn, drifted to the five path into the stretch then flattened the final sixteenth. BEING ME pressured the early pace outside, raced in the five path of the turn, was carried out a path into the lane and showed little more. IN HIGH GEAR pressured the early pace inside but dropped back past the three eighths pole, rounded the turn at the rail and weakened. HURRICANE AMIGO was not a factor. SUN OF SILVER saved ground.
