Chart notes
EMPTY TALK was well placed early, rallied three wide in the stretch, edged clear late, driving. OX TROT vied for the lead throughout, held gamely in the stretch and just missed. VINNY BOY set the pace until late stretch and held well to just fail. FIRE FOR EFFECT allowed to settle early, rallied four wide at the quarter pole and drew close, then hung late. RED BLUE AND TRUE raced mid pack and went evenly. NO ENTIENDO was unhurried early, swung wide in the stretch and was no menace late. BUSTER'S BOY pressed the pace from the inside and tired in mid stretch . HERACLITUS was outrun.
