Chart notes
CRUZ IN THE CASTLE tapered to the inside and rated the pace, was given rein leaving the three eighths pole, widened under a hand ride nearest the rail on the far turn then steadily encouraged to draw off through the lane. TINA'S SONG broke out to make contact with Quincys Way then settled just off the pace inside, picked up the chase nearing the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn at the rail but proved no match in the lane. CHOPRA was jostled at the break and rounded the opening turn about the three path, started a bid toward the seven sixteenths pole, improved position in the three path of the far turn and ran evenly in the lane. QUINCYS WAY was bumped at the break then saved ground, bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole, raced near the rail on the far turn and finished evenly. CHARITABLE MISS broke outward to make contact with Chopra then settled off the rail the first turn, eased out into the backstretch and gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole, ran in the three path of the far turn and showed little more. MASTERDANCER settled off the early pace about the three path, bid nearing the three eighths pole then weakened in the four path of the far turn. GATTOLOTTACHARM rounded the first turn about the four path, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole then flattened stride widest on the far turn. SISTER JOANN broke in to make contact with Chopra then stalked in the two and three paths, gave chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole but faded into the far turn.
