Chart notes
EL MAYOR stalked the pace on the outside, took the lead at the seven-sixteenths, shook clear while three then two wide on the turn, responded well when set down in upper stretch and drew off while kept to the task. OLIVER'S FORTUNE settled just off the pace near the inside, dropped back at the seven-sixteenths, continued to drop back while losing position badly along the rail on the turn, was roused late on that bend, swung five wide into the stretch and finished willingly for the place. BOHEMIAN RUBY was fractious in the gate, settled off the pace, was urged three wide on the turn and lacked the needed kick while able to get the show. YAH HUH broke out at the start, saved ground towards the back and failed to threaten. SONIC SPEED broke out then bumped with foes on both sides and clipped heels while pinched back, moved out near the nine-sixteenths, advanced closer with a half-mile to run, went five then four wide on the turn and failed to respond. WICKED KARMA bumped lightly with a foe at the start, settled near the middle of the field, was urged in the two path on the turn and also failed to respond. GO JOHNNY GO bumped with a rival at the start, raced just off the pace, went two to three wide on the turn, dropped back four wide into the stretch and had nothing left. PRINCE OF JOY moved out around the three-quarter pole, was urged four then five wide on the turn and was no factor. BAIL OUT THE BANK bumped with an opponent at the start, showed the way down the backstretch, was headed at the seven-sixteenths, dropped from the two path to the rail on the turn and retreated. UNCLE JEROME broke out and bumped with a rival, lugged out leaving the chute, settled near the rear, came under the crop late on the backstretch. went three then four wide on the turn, came six wide into the stretch and showed little. FLINTSHIRE'S ROCK settled just off the pace on the outside, came up empty in the four path on the turn and faltered.
