Chart notes

COPPERHEAD CREEK was allowed to settle early while four wide, advanced four wide on the turn, continued that move leaving the turn and drew away in the furlong grounds to prove best, driving. SHANE'S JEWEL was hustled to the front to set a pressured pace along the inside, then vied for command by the furlong marker and gave way grudgingly while staying on for the place award. TRIFOR GOLD pressed the early pace and made a three wide bid on the turn to duel for command on the turn, then vied for the lead between horses by the furlong marker and flattened out, bested rest. P JS SILVER DUKE was allowed to settle on the inside, eased out leaving the five sixteenths and came four wide into the drive and had a belated rally. SOUPER CATCH was well placed on the inside and weakened the final quarter of a mile. KNOWN QUANTITY was allowed to settle early while two wide and in between rivals and had no rally. YES SIR COLONEL chased the early pace four wide and was five wide on the turn and tired. MIDNIGHT HAULER had no response.
