Chart notes
MONGOL ALTAI settled inside then moved off the rail on the clubhouse turn, went three wide into the second bend, came five wide into the stretch, drifted out and rallied from the middle portion of the track, got lightly brushed when heading FUNKENSTEIN with a sixteenth to go and edged past under a drive. FUNKENSTEIN got bumped leaving the gate, stalked off the inside, went outside a rival on the far turn, bid three deep with five-sixteenths remaining, led five wide at the top of the stretch, drifted out at brushed MONGOL ALTAI lightly at the sixteenth pole and was bested in the closing moments. WHISKEY VISION broke out and bumped rival, set the pace under pressure form the outside, cleared at the halfway point, vied with a pair of rivals leaving the far turn, lost command into the stretch and stayed on for the show. DADDYS SPECIALDARK shifted out at the start, showed speed and went four wide into the first turn then angled down to the two path, pressed the pace from outside, chased past the half-mile pole, bid between foes at the five-sixteenths but weakened in the lane. HUMBOLDT went four wide around the first turn, saved ground trailing the field to the stretch and tired.
