Chart notes
SKY MAKER settled off of the early pace while two wide, swung to five wide for the drive, caught MI AMARE inside of the furlong marker and kicked clear in the end. MI AMARE chased the pace through the early stages, gained ground on the turn to vie for the lead while four wide, led leaving the turn but was caught by the winner inside of the eighth pole and bested the rest. BLUE WILDCAT tracked the early pace, gained ground to vie for the lead on the turn while three wide between rivals, was still in aim leaving the turn and flattened out in the drive though held for the show. MAYDAYSMOON stalked the pace from a three to four wide path, gained ground into the stretch and weakened in the late going. PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE had no speed in the early stages, improved position while three wide on the turn and lacked a late rally. SHE'S NOT TO BLAME pressed the pace through the turn, was two wide between foes while vying for the lead nearing the quarter-marker and weakened in the stretch run. CHELINA lacked early speed, was two wide on the turn and was not a factor. BIG MAMA THORNTON was sent leaving the start to set the fractions while being pressured, continued to feel that challenge on the turn while setting the pace and faded in the late going.
