Chart notes
ADIOS DIXIE dueled two wide between foes to upper stretch, battled on inside in the lane, regained the lead leaving the sixteenth pole and edged ahead late. ALARM CLOCK came in and bumped ISLAND WINTER at the start, advanced four wide around the turn, took the lead near the quarter pole, led through much of the stretch but was outfinished. GOLDEN BOW dueled three wide to upper stretch and weakened a bit between foes in the final furlong,. MUDSHAFT was off a bit slow, raced off the pace four wide and had a mild rally. CROOKLYN lacked speed while racing two wide, angled widest in upper stretch and improved position. FORGE AHEAD dueled inside of foes and tired in the lane. BLACK SILK tracked the duel two wide, angled five wide near the quarter pole and came up empty. ISLAND WINTER was pinched back at the break, saved ground and made little impact. MONICA QUEEN bumped at the start and was outrun inside.
