ELUSIVE RYDER raced four wide on the first turn, vied outside for the lead, took on the backside, drew off, widened in upper stretch, then held sway late under some right handed urging. PARTY IN THE SAND raced two wide, advanced on the turn, angled out into the stretch, rallied outside, closed steadily and was gaining in the final strides. DUSTWHIRL WONDER raced three wide on the first turn, stalked outside, chased the leaders on the far turn and had no rally. PENANCE vied two wide for the lead, dueled on the backside, chased the winner on the far turn and weakened. CARMELTINI raced off the pace inside and lacked a rally. FLORENCIA pulled racing close up inside, then vied inside, tracked and faded. SUPERLING was outrun.
