Chart notes
TAPPED TO THE MAX was away alertly to duel for the lead while racing three-wide, opened a clear margin nearing the quarter, responded when challenged by CIRCUS ROAD nearing the sixteenth pole, vied with that rival and gamely held. CIRCUS RIDE was reserved just off the leaders from the inside, angled out nearing the quarter, reached the winner with a sixteenth to run, vied with that foe and just missed. VROYSKY broke sharply to dispute the early fractions from the inside, angled inside with a furlong to run and finished with good courage. RAOFTHESUN showed no early speed, raced four-wide through the turn, angled out further into the stretch and finished with good energy. C DUB was void of early foot, saved ground through the turn and did not threaten. L D' RADO GOLDRUSH was forwardly placed early, moved five-wide through the turn and weakened after going a half. THE METAL MAN was void of early speed, raced three-wide through the turn and was not a factor. THE RACE WAS HAND TIMED.
