Chart notes
CHARLIE COMANCH stalked from outside, exchanged light brushes late up the backstretch, went six wide on the turn, struck the lead past the sixteenth pole to prevail under steady handling. HENRY ON THE RUN bumped a rival at the start, contended from between rivals, went two wide on the turn, edged clear in upper stretch but was outfinished. COMET CAUSEY brushed with a rival lightly up the backstretch, eased back from between foes five wide early on the turn and shifted in three deep midway on that bend, kept on in the lane. LINCOLN COUNTY KID exchanged light brushes late up the backstretch, dropped back and angled in at the seven-sixteenths, went two to three wide on the turn, came out near the furlong marker and improved. COUNTRY CLUB CUTIE bumped a rival at the start, was forwardly-positioned early, bumped late up the backstretch in the vicinity of the half, went four wide on the turn, came in and bumped a rival at the furlong pole and weakened. WAYLAY was bumped from both sides at the start, came out and bumped a rival near the half, went three wide on the turn, drifted about a bit in upper stretch, was bumped at the eighth pole and weakened.
