Chart notes
GUITARZAN sprinted to the front, drove clear, led throughout and held on well for the win. HATTIES JEWEL unhurried in the beginning, raced outside around the second turn, made a late bid and was gaining on the winner. SWEEPING EDGE pressed pace, forwardly placed throughout and proved no match for the top two. MISTAKE PRESENT raced in the back of the pack, showed late interest, but was no factor. CORVETTE SPIRIT pressed the pace, saved ground around the final turn and faded. CAJUN CASH void of early speed, had an outside trip and was never close. SAVING ARGUMENT raced within contention, dropped back, finished wide and was no threat late.
