Chart notes
BUCKEYE RUCKUS chased the early speed, rallied at the quarter pole and drew even, drew clear late under firm handling. OFTEN ENOUGH was well placed early, angled out three wide in the stretch, finished well and was second best. THIS MAN CAN set the pace and dueled, on the lead, held well in the drive. CAPTAIN RILEY allowed to settle, failed to menace. ATTACK ANGLE contended early and was through after a half. OLE WATASHI broke in the air and trailed. The stewards posted the inquiry sign but took no action.
