Chart notes
FANCY FELINE was urged along on the outside, went three wide on the turn, gained to take the lead at the three-sixteenths, drew off under a drive into the final sixteenth then was eased up in the final seventy yards while much the best. U SHOULD B DANCING was hustled from the start, pressed the pace on the outside while taken under a snug hold, vied in the two path on the turn, gained the lead outside the quarter-pole, lost the advantage to the winner in upper stretch and proved no match while clear for the place. ETHEL'S DOCTORATE was urged along off the pace, dropped back late on the backstretch, went four wide on the turn and was best of the rest. FLIGHT FORWARD bumped with a rival at the start, dropped well behind the rest of the field, raced inside to the two path on the turn, moved out some in the stretch and failed to threaten. BAREFOOT DANCER was urged along on the inside, angled out significantly at the half-mile pole, went five wide on the turn and was no factor. MY LITTLE LULU showed speed then was well placed just off the pace, dropped back late on the backstretch, saved ground on the turn and retreated. BANK STATEMENT bumped with a foe at the start, set the pace under pressure to her outside, vied along the rail on the turn, was headed outside the quarter-pole and stopped.
