Chart notes
TOO BOSS settled outside, bid into the stretch, wore down the pacesetters and edged clear in the final sixteenth. NORTHERN EXPRESS dropped back on the turn then gained near the inside in the stretch to capture place. BECAUSE I CAN alternated for the lead inside, led in midstretch and continued gamely to the finish. BLACK LIGHT stumbled at the start, vied wide, led at the quarter pole then weakened slightly. BAAFEED saved ground within range then flattened out through the stretch. BEAVER CREEK lagged far behind then offered some late energy outside. HIGHWAY BOUND rushed up to duel between rivals then proved empty in the stretch.
