Chart notes
TONE FEELIN vied early inside NEW YORK STYLE, got the best of that dispute coming off the turn, then gamely repelled challenges from SIR KAHN and FLIPPING FISH through a long drive. SIR KAHN advanced midway on the turn, loomed between horses three to four wide after six furlongs, and ran on willingly outside the winner. FLIPPING FISH was a step slower than the rest at the start, ranged up four to five wide outside the leaders past the quarter-pole, had aim through the lane and finished evenly while clear of the rest. WICKED TEMPTATIONS stayed in striking range for six furlongs, and lacked the needed response. NEW YORK STYLE alternated for the lead outside TONE FEELIN to the top of the stretch, and weakened. BRETT'S WORLD faded steadily after a half-mile outside.
