Chart notes
MATTS FIRE N ICE sprinted to the front, drove clear, led throughout and was going away at the end. SMART ANALYSIS raced within striking distance, came around both turns on the outside, proved no match for the winner, but was a clear second. THE BIG SHOW pressed the early pace, eased back, came around the final turn on the inside, angled out, entered the stretch four wide, made a mild bid and was a clear third. COUNTRY CUT void of early speed, improved position, but was no factor. PALIMONIUM raced evenly near the back and was never a threat. COTTONWOOD raced within contention and faded. GENERAL EISENHOWER always raced near the back, came around the first turn on the outside and was outrun.
