BIG TONY'S GIRL bumped with a rival at the start while brushing with another foe then was checked while pinched back, was urged along at the rear on the outside, rounded the turn in the three path, was driven six wide into the stretch and improved for the place. QUEENTIGUA was hustled from the start, pressed the pace on the outside, vied in the three then four path on the turn, took the lead while five wide into the stretch, lost the advantage to the winner inside the three-sixteenths and weakened but was clear for the show. MISSION TRAIL broke out and bumped with a foe then was taken up with a snatch of the left-rein, raced at the rear of the field, saved ground on the turn, came three wide into the stretch, moved out near the furlong marker and lacked the needed response. TOOTSIE'S SONG was well placed just off the pace, chased three then four wide on the turn and came up empty. BETTY'S SMILE brushed with a rival at the start, was urged along on the outside, went four wide on the turn and had nothing left. TANGOBERG showed good speed, set the pace under pressure to her outside, vied inside to the two path on the turn, lost the lead coming to the quarter-pole and faded.
