Chart notes
DESERT DUDE stalked the pace from the second flight while outside of rivals into the second turn, mounted a five wide bid into the stretch, was urged using left-handed encouragement and responded to that urging to get by the runner-up in the final strides. ANTARCTIC saved ground while forwardly placed through the backstretch run, improved position into the stretch, continued that run while on the left lead to take the lead into the final stages but was outkicked by the winner, while clear of the rest. SOUTHEAST ASIA stalked the pace while outside of rivals into the second turn, vied for the lead nearing the furlong marker, put a head in front but was quickly passed by oncoming rivals inside of the sixteenth-marker and was outfinished. MEGAMEISTER checked in tight quarters entering the first turn, settled at the rear of the field through the backstretch run, was coaxed along into the lane and made a mild late gain in the late going. AGENT ZERO was unhurried through the backstretch run while saving ground, lacked room in upper stretch, dove to the inside for the final furlong and did not offer a late rally. START A RUNNIN was away alertly and set the pace through the second turn, came under pressure nearing the quarter-marker, was caught nearing the furlong marker and tired in the drive. AWE pulled the rider along the first turn to challenge for the early pace, stalked the pace outside of rivals into the second turn, came within aim nearing the quarter-marker and weakened in the stretch.
