Chart notes
SIR SMACK went to the front, drove clear, pulled away and won handily. GENTRIFIED void of early speed, saved ground around the final turn, made a late rail bid, proved no match for the winner, but was a clear second. COMMON LAW CAT raced within contention, forwardly placed throughout and proved no match for the top two. TALE OF FAME lacked early speed, showed late interest, while finishing wide, but was no factor. CARPE VICTORIAM had a wide trip, raced evenly near the back and was outrun. LOVER BOY pressed the early pace and faded. PADDOCK PICK raced in the middle of the field in the early part and retreated. MASTERLY showed early speed and dropped back.
