Chart notes
CAJUN BERTI vied for the early lead, saved ground around the turn, drove clear, was all out and held on for the win. G DON'T KNOW raced within striking distance, came around the turn on the outside, rallied down the lane and was getting to the winner. SMILING SONG raced within contention, came around the turn three wide, forwardly placed throughout and proved no match for the top two. HARRY'S LIL HIPPIE lacked early speed, showed late interest, finished wide and was no factor. MIDNIGHT NIGHTMARE lacked early speed, raced inside around the turn, angled out, went around DESIARD, moved back to the rail and made a mild bid. HOMELAND MESSA raced in the back of the pack and passed tired ones. PAY DIRT stumbled at the start, raced near the back, finished wide and was no threat. DESIARD dueled for the early lead, saved ground around the turn and dropped back. MALASONG pressed the pace, blew the turn and trailed late.
