Chart notes
TRY TO CAPTURE broke sharply to duel for the lead while racing from off the rail, opened a clear margin into the lane and drew off as handy winner. FLYING CHARLIE chased the leaders while racing four-wide, was no match for the winner in the drive but finished well to gain the place. BID IN THE BACK showed no early speed, raced four-wide through the turn and finished with a belated bid. LOTSA LENA was away in good order to dispute the pace with the winner while racing three-wide and gave way after going a half. THE THIRD RING settled off the leaders early, moved four-wide through the turn, angled in nearing the three-sixteenths pole and was not a factor. ROADSIDE was void of early speed, raced five-wide through the turn and did not offer a bid. MARINO HEAT raced off the pacesetters early, moved three-wide through the turn and gradually weakened.
