Chart notes
SOY TAPATIO set the pace under pressure from INVISIBLE WAR, cleared that rival nearing the far turn, saved ground into the lane and drew off under a few taps of right-handed urging and steady handling. AMERICAN ADMIRAL bobbled leaving the gate, stalked two then three wide on the first turn, was driven three wide into the lane and gained the place. INVISIBLE WAR pressed the pace from outside, chased the leader into and around the far turn in the two path and flattened to third. DANCE COMPANY bobbled leaving the gate, went four then three wide outside the top pair on the first turn, well placed behind the duo up the backstretch, started to tire on the far turn, eased down the lane and walked off. MAGNIFICENT went four then three wide on the first turn, angled in on the second bend while trailing the field, eased in the lane and walked off.
