Chart notes
DON'T SWEAR DAVE forwardly placed four then three deep on the backstretch, vied three deep into the lane, took over in upper stretch, cleared midstretch and held safely. WIN THE DAY was off slow and broke inward, took closer order up the backstretch, raced three deep at the quarter pole, moved out in upper stretch and nosed out WAR AT SEA for second. WAR AT SEA was up close early between foes then dropped back a bit to chase the top trio, went two wide around the turn, tipped out in the lane and missed the place. ADMIRAL HALSEY pressed from between rivals early, vied for command between runners around the tur, fought to the furlong grounds and flattened out. EPOCH broke slow then was coaxed to go up and take control, vied with a pair of rivals around the bend, fought to the eighth pole and weakened. CARPE BELLUM came away slow and got bothered a bit from outside, chased along the inside to the lane, moved off the rail in the stretch and also weakened. QUIDPROQUO JOEBLOW was off very slow from outside, angled in and saved ground trailing the field and was always outrun.
