Chart notes
MR. JAGERMEISTER stalked the top pair down the backstretch, reeled in Awesome Anywhere around the far turn, raced in the four path through the stretch and was well clear late under a vigorous hand ride. ABOUT TODAY (ARG) was forwardly placed to lay up close early on, raced along the inside through the lane but was no match for the winner. AWESOME ANYWHERE was quick to begin to set the early pace from the inside and weakened a bit through the stretch run. GRADE ONE settled off the early pace, raced five wide near the three sixteenths pole and had no response. DEVILEYE was slow early, saved ground and never was a factor. SHIP IT RED was allowed to settle early, raced three wide and failed to have a response.
