YANKEE DIVISION vied from the five path early on with a trio before emerging in tandem with WATER'S EDGE, tucked four wide through the turn under pressure from that rival to the outside, came under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, swung four wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive and held sway to the finish. WATER'S EDGE vied early on outside a trio then emerged to prompt the aforementioned foe to the outside six then five wide, came under coaxing at the three-eighths, swung five wide into upper stretch, got shaken off a furlong out, then came again surging late to latch on the winner as the hit the finish. NO SALT vied briefly three wide with a trio before easing off to chase three then two wide, came under coaxing at the three-eighths, spun just off the inside for home and kept on for the show honors. SEVEN LILIES five to six paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked four wide through the turn getting placed to coaxing at the three-eighths, swung five wide for home and kicked on belatedly for the last major share. BAD GUY six paths off the inside down the backstretch, tucked three wide through the turn coming under coaxing midway, swung three to four wide into upper stretch and weakened.
