PETE THE BEAST took the lead at the half mile pole and set a pressured pace, raced at the rail on the turn and was steadily handled through the lane. BIG BROWN SHOES gave chase, raced two deep on the turn and dueled through the stretch for second. COWBOY AT HEART chased, ran at the rail on the turn then outfinished in the stretch duel for second. LIKE SEGAL chased through the backstretch, rounded the turn at the rail and finished evenly. SEVENTY EIGHT chased and rounded the turn near the rail and ran evenly in the lane. SHOW ME THE BEST gave chase, ran in the four path of the turn, drifted toward the head of the lane and finished evenly. JAIME JAMEL gave chase, rounded the turn about the five path, drifted a bit wider into the stretch and finished evenly outside.
