Chart notes
BEVERLY PARK rated a short lead inside, came under pressure leaving the three eighths pole, raced near the rail on the far turn and was steadily handled through the lane. COMMAND THE CAT stalked two deep, picked up the chase from the three eighths pole, raced off the rail on the far turn and settled for second. FIRE DOWN BELOW stalked in the three path the first turn, gave chase toward the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn still in the three path and finished well. PROTA rated close inside, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole, raced at the rail on the far turn then weakened. KING NEKIA rounded the opening turn about the four path then stalked into the backstretch, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole, though flattened in the three path of the far turn. MARTIN MAN saved ground well off the pace, picked up the chase from the three eighths pole and pssed rivals. KINGSTON PIKE settled off the early pace in the three and four paths, picked up the chase into the backstretch but weakened at the rail on the far turn. HONOR LIFE showed little response. AWESOME BUZZ settled back off the rail the first turn and showed little response leaving the three eighths pole. TOM TERRIFIC was never a factor.
