Chart notes
LOVETHATCAUSE stalked the leaders in the early going, moved up, three wide around the final turn, pulled away and won under confident handling. CABOT TRAIL pressed the pace, raced outside around the first turn, forwardly placed throughout, proved no match for the winner, but held on for second. PARK RIDGE BENNY lacked early speed, made a late bid, racing four wide and was outfinished for second. SWEEPING EDGE void of early speed, made a late gain and missed the show position. HALF A BITE raced in the middle of the field, put forth an even effort and lacked a bid. B B MOODY went to the front, drove clear, saved ground around the final turn and faded. PREACHER void of early speed and was never close. PARLAY PETE pressed the early pace and retreated to the rear.
