Chart notes

NOBALLSTWOSTRIKES raced on the lead in the front stretch then stalked past the nine sixteenths pole, started a bid nearing the three eighths, raced off the rail on the far turn and dug in from the head of the lane to get up late strides. WITH SECRET ENERGY raced with the early pace two deep then took the nod toward the nine sixteenths pole and ran clear into the backstretch, dug in at the rail on the far turn, was steadily encouraged through the lane but was caught in late strides. LATE IN THE GAME raced well back inside the first turn, bid leaving the three eighths pole, ran in the five and six paths of the far turn, steadily progressed through the lane and was gaining on the top two. SPECTACULO settled off the rail the first turn, bid leaving the three eighths pole and ran evenly in the stretch. WHAT AN OX settled off the pace in the four path the first turn, picked up the chase toward the three eighths pole, came through the far turn still in the four path but flattened in the lane. MOVED BY JUBA stalked in the two and three paths, gave chase nearing the three eighths pole, rounded the far turn in the three path then weakened.
