Chart notes
MATH MAN MARCO rated the pace, came under pressure toward the quarter pole, raced at the rail on the turn and was kept alert to widen. REMYS GUNSMOKE gave chase, rounded the turn about the three path and had to settle for second best. MANHATTAN WEAVE gave only distant early chase, ran in the three and four paths of the turn and came along for third late. NICE BUT NAUGHTY broke awkwardly, gave distant early chase, rounded the turn near the rail and showed little in the lane. CATS DIAMOND BOY gave chase inside, raced near the rail on the turn then weakened. WATCHING SNOW FLY broke awkwardly then picked up the chase outside, ran in the five path of the turn and showed little more. CHEROKEE WIND was not a factor. This race was hand timed.
