Chart notes
SHELLEY'S GEM saved ground for a half, shifted outside the leader, drew on even terms for the lead before the furlong marker and proved best under right handed urging. MARIPOSA D'ORO made the lead soon after the start, set the pace until deep stretch, dug in gamely when joined by the winner and just failed. INDY PRINCESS KOKO slow early, was steadily gaining ground late three wide. TICKETY BOO moved up four wide on the turn then leveled off. HIGHLY EXPLOSIVE vied for the lead four then three wide into the stretch and faded late. MAYAN QUEEN was no threat. ULTRA RAYS was outrun. FLOWZANO pressed the pace two wide, had speed into the stretch and gave way late. COMPANYS COMING stalked the pace three wide and was through after a half.
