Chart notes
SPARKY HALE stalked the early pace, moved up along the inside around the far turn, raced four wide through the upper stretch and finished well to edge clear under strong pressure. BIG BLUE LINE raced up close down the backstretch, moved up three wide through the far turn, led near the quarter pole but couldn't match strides with the winner late to finish second best. LOCO was allowed to settle early, moved up six wide near the quarter pole and had not enough for the top pair in the drive. TEE BURNS was sent along to set the early pace and weakened a bit the final eighth of a mile. FASTNFURIOUS was unhurried early, raced five wide around the far turn and had no late response. SPEEDY G was forwardly placed to lay up close and failed to sustain a bid. LOYAL TO THE GAME was off slowly and never threatened.
