Chart notes
HALF PAST TWELVE broke well and pressed the pace from outside, took over in upper stretch, cleared in midstretch and held safely. GRACELUND GRAY was off a bit slow and got bumped at the start, checked early, pulled up the backstretch then got squeezed at the seven-sixteenths pole, angled four wide around the turn and rallied gamely for second. BABY STEPS was rated early outside a rival, angled to the rail on the turn, moved out and split foes late and gained the show. IMPEACHD ALEXANDER (IRE) broke a bit slow and got bumped from inside, went up to raced outside the top pair, remained three deep around the turn, roused in upper stretch and faltered late. VIRULENTE (FR) steadied off heels early, raced outside rivals then chased four wide into the lane and finished evenly in deep stretch. SHES BOUT A MOVER set the pace under pressure, saved ground into the lane, lost command in upper stretch and weakened late. ROCK THE BELLES lost her path early, got blocked at the five-sixteenths pole, swung four wide into the stretch and could not make an impact. LIAM'S DOVE stalked the pace along the rail, dropped back around the turn and faded.
