CALL BROS was rated outside a rival off the second flight racing to the backstretch, was prompted to advance outside foes entering the far turn, was fanned four wide into upper stretch, exchanged some contact with YES SIR ROBERT in the closing stages but continued with late momentum to edge a rival for the place honors. THENORTHREMEMBERS, rated inside foes to the backstretch, tipped out after a half while being prompted to advance, advanced through close quarters splitting rivals just off the inside to bid along the rail racing into upper stretch but was outkicked by the top pair. YES SIR ROBERT was rated along the inside just off the second flight to the backstretch, tipped out racing through the far turn to gain position three deep between foes in the lane, altered course when momentarily losing his path to the eventual winner leaving midstretch while exchanging some contact with CALL BROS and lacked the needed final kick. BRIDGEKEEPER settled last to the backstretch, swung out five wide racing into the stretch, drifted out under pressure in the closing stages and made no real impression. BRILLIANT JOURNEY sped to the lead while angling to the inside leaving the chute, dictated the pace on a narrow margin to the far turn and gave out racing into upper stretch. MONTAUK SUMMER tracked off the second flight outside rivals to the backstretch, was prompted to advance while caught four wide racing into the far turn and soon faded. FOLLOWING THE RACE, THE RIDER OF YES SIR ROBERT LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST THE RIDER OF CALL BROS ALLEGING INTERFERENCE MIDSTRETCH WHILE THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED A CONCURRENT INQUIRY BUT NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
