Chart notes
CATALINA QUEEN raced within striking distance, saved ground around the turn, swung out entering the stretch and drove clear. SAY WHAT vied for the early lead, forwardly placed throughout, proved no match late for the winner, but held on for second. GOTTEMINABIND pressed the pace, checked around the turn, blocked, swung to the outside, rallied down the lane and closed fast, just missing second. BLUE RIDGE ROMANCE dueled on the front end, saved ground around the turn, raced close throughout and weakened. YES I'M A LADY lacked early speed, came around the turn wide, improved position, but was no factor. KATIE'S C showed early speed and faded. BOSTON BELLE dueled on the front end and dropped back. POINT ME OUT flashed brief speed and retreated to the rear.
