Chart notes
ONE MORE FACTOR pressed the early pace while racing between rivals, built a clear lead inside the eighth pole and prevailed late under all out pressure. LIFESPAN was allowed to settle early, moved up along the inside around the far turn and closed in gamely in the final stages to just miss. PEPE AND HEYWOOD vied for the early lead from the inside and weakened a bit in the drive. KING SHAWN stalked the early pace, raced three wide near the quarter pole and had no final winning bid. DASHING CIRCLES dropped back early, raced four deep near the three sixteenths pole and had not enough. BALTIMORE BUD was reluctant to load, raced four wide around the far turn and had no response. THE BIG K was coaxed along early while racing three wide and tired. PAID HOLIDAY was allowed to settle off the early pace, raced six to seven wide into the upper stretch and never was a factor.
