Chart notes
LOVE TO LEARN pressed the pace, moved up three wide around the second turn, made an outside bid and drove clear. GEE GEE challenged for the early advantage, forwardly placed throughout, proved no match for the winner late, but was best of others. ORB'S SOUL bobbled at the start, racing in the rear, had an outside trip, proved no match for the top two, but got up for third. GIRL THIRSTY lacked early speed, saved ground around the final tun, made a mild bid, but was no factor. MEMORY MAGIC lacked early speed, finished wide and was no factor. FIRST EMPRESS raced in the middle of the field, saved ground around the second turn and weakened. HARLONS COMMISION went to the front, drove clear, saved ground around the second turn and dropped back.
