Chart notes
LORD BERRIER was urged inside a rival disputing the pace on a narrow advantage through the backstretch, forged clear leaving the turn under pressure and was taken in hand in late stages. M V SPEED tracked just off the pacesetter inside foes through the backstretch, saved ground to upper stretch and proved best of the others. QUICK INTRO, loose momentarily after dislodging his rider in the parade to post, tracked off the first flight three wide between foes in the opening stages, eased back from that position nearing the turn, shifted inwards approaching upper stretch and continued with an effort to regain some position between rivals. SANDY KISS tracked the leaders between foes in second flight, continued in pursuit of the eventual winner to upper stretch and gave way. STREAKING GREY angled inwards prompting the pacesetter in the opening stages but gave way racing into the bend. READTHETRANSCRIPT switched out four wide tracking the leaders in second flight and emptied out racing into the bend. SMALL JOHN tracked just off the leaders between foes on the backstretch but faded early.
