Chart notes
SOUTH SEA chased along the inside in closest aim of the leader, advanced into the turn to take command three furlongs from home, came under light coaxing near the quarter pole, took the inside route into upper stretch, went clear under a drive and was ridden out to the finish. MOONACHIE chased three wide until tucked inside half a mile from home, came under coaxing at the three-eighths, continued in the inside route into upper stretch, proved no match for the top one while keeping on to secure the place honors. SPEEDING KID chased three to four wide under coaxing from the three-eighths, continued three to four wide for home and passed tired rivals. RAGTIME BLUES bobbled at the start, chased just off the inside under coaxing from the three-eighths, continued just off the inside for home and improved position to the finish. MI TRES POR CIENTO (CHI) hustled from the gate, chased three to four wide coaxed along from the three-eighths, swung four wide for home and weakened. NEXT FLIGHT chased four wide under coaxing from the three-eighths, swung five wide for home, weakened in the stretch. LOHENGRIN TWO coaxed from the gate, showed the way in hand just off the inside, came under coaxing under threat at the three-eighths, yielded the front at that station, spun just off the inside for home and weakened. COOL QUARTET bumped at the start by SUMMER BOURBON, who broke outwards, chased just off the inside until tucked inside through the turn, got placed to coaxing midway, continued just off the inside into upper stretch and made no impact.
