Chart notes
LODE OF BLARNEY challenged for the early lead, drove clear and won under steady urging. ROCKIN ROG pressed the pace, forwardly placed throughout, proved no match for the winner, but was a clear second. DESIARD brushed at the start, vied for the early lead, proved no match for the top two, but held on for third. G DON'T KNOW void of early speed, raced outside around the turn, made a late wide gain and missed third. SMILING SONG raced evenly near the back and lacked a late rally. MARVELOUS RED broke in, raced near the back, saved ground around the turn and finished evenly near the back. PAY DIRT void of early speed, came around the turn wide and showed little.
